A quaint town that time forgot. This is the historic marker about the history of how Hilda's name came about.

The Marker is located in a little park. It has an old train depot, and caboose, where town "shin-digs" take place. Hilda is also apparently known for the Fireman festival. There's also a walking path near the far side of the park from the marker. There isn't much else there, but still its a nice little recreation place to sit and read and just enjoy the sun.
