The Owen Point Sea Caves can be accessed and viewed by hikers trecking along the West Coast Trail, providing the tide is below 1.8 meters. The spectacular caves have been carved out by surges of the Pacific Ocean over time. The colors reflect the mineral deposits from both the rock and the salt from the sea.

Hikers are advised to play close attention to the tide tables to ensure they access and exit at low tide. Parks Canada provides tide charts free of charge to hikers hiking the West Coast Trail and the Owen Point Sea Caves.

They are truly spectacular and a 'must see' during your visit.
