While hiking the Sinking Creek segment of the East Lakeshore Trail System my son and I ran across this old relic sitting next to the trail. The first thought that came to mind was "what and excellent place for an ammo can!" Thanks to Frivlas I found out that this is a 1939 Dodge. You can see an old road bed that this truck might have used to get down here. Use the Sinking Creek Trail to get to this as any other way will take you over private property. Trailhead coordinates are N35 41.483 W084 13.857. Truck is about 2.5 miles down the trail. Can be found by boat with only about a 50ft walk.
