Sunset Park is very "kid" friendly and allows personal interaction with all of its many features. Most notable is the unique Sundial at the park. You can actually enter the sundial and walk around. The Gnomon (center pointer of the sundial) is a tall, wind operated, spiral sculpture. The interaction of the wind and the sun on this sculpture cause a fluttering shadow to be cast on the time indicator stones.
