This confluence spot is less than 200 feet from the road in a residential neighborhood. It can be reached by a short but steep climb through vegetation.

At the time of posting, the confluence point could be reached by climbing an ivy-covered hill from Athel Drive in Hacienda Heights, CA. A red marker on a tree limb can be seen from the road and marks the halfway point of the hike. This is a residential neighborhood, but the area is currently open to the public. (I did see a nearby "Lot For Sale" sign, so access may change in the future.)

While there is no parking on Athel Drive, street parking is available on Oak Canyon Road.
