Lantier House, which is Kirkland’s Cultural Center serves as home base for the Kirkland Artists' Association, composed of artists and visual art enthusiasts from Kirkland and other West Island communities.
This beautiful 200 year-old Heritage home, which was renovated in 1979, is located in the Timberlea area.
The KAA holds indoor and outdoor exhibitions in May on the grounds of this beautiful heritage home as well as exhibitions at the Kirkland Library every November and other special events throughout the year.
The KAA has been committed to promoting creativity through a variety of activities such as workshops and regular exhibitions.
Demonstrations by well-known artists, guest speakers, still life and live model workshops, illustrations of different media, drawing sessions as well as our meetings (held 6 times a year), help provide a vibrant and creative environment for our members.
