The
Unser Racing Museum celebrates four generations of Unser family members who have raced and won major car races including the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and Indianapolis 500 as well as the history of the race car. Visitors can see many race cars, antique cars, pace cars, engines, tires and other racing memorabilia in permanent and changing exhibits.
Throughout the museum, there are interactive kiosks and racing videos to learn more about the ever changing race car technology in a fun and educational environment. A race car simulator, like the ones used by the professionals, puts you in the driver's seat to test your own skills.
A centerpiece in the museum is a replica of the Cummins/Holset Turbo #25 that Al Unser, Sr. drove to victory in the 1987 Indianapolis 500.
If you are lucky, you may even get to meet the legendary Al Unser, Sr., he is known to visit the museum daily when he is in town.
