There are many bicycle tenders on the campus of UCO. One unique thing, however, is the Bum-a-Bike program which encourages students to use this form of transportation.
In 2008, two local businesses, Al's Bicycles and the FlatTire restaurant sponsored this program by donating bicycles to the campus, and Al's providing free maintenance for the bikes.
Students can check out a bike free of charge from the UCO Department of Public Safety office by showing a valid UCO I.D. card and signing a waiver. The bike can be used for up to two weeks, and then renewed after inspection. The program has proved very successful in promoting this healthy lifestyle and inexpensive mode of transportation.

This tender is located alongside a walkway just south of the Lillard Administration Building, and north of a beautiful garden area.
