A triangular parcel of land, at a very busy intersection, was donated to the city by Grace M. Berwin. It was an ideal place to create an urban oasis, especially since the park allows access to additional city owned park land.
The park features landscaped and planted grounds, a large open field, really nice park benches, and a small building used for special occasions. Funding for the park came from the Community Preservation Act. It's maintained by the Agawam Beautification Committee.
Coordinates are for the parking lot.
