These adorable goats beg for a little attention at the Howell Tree Farm, nursery, and gift barn. One can hardly refrain from putting a coin in the food machine and spoil one of the multitude of goats with a special treat. A sign near the food machine welcomes visitors to “experience close contact with our farm animals…” and if you get attached to one of these beautiful animals, the owners might be willing to sell it to you.
While there, be sure to check out the beautiful 1910 barn and the painted barn quilt, also a waymark. The petting farm is located on Co. Rd. G4R west of Cummings and the floral and tree business is open daily from 10 a m. To 6 p.m.
