To commemorate the Centennial of the Millard County School District, a statue of a girl and a boy reading, while sitting atop a large block, was created. The statues were made by Gary Lee Price with generous donations from the students and faculty of Delta South Elementary School. On two sides of the block, plaques were placed, with names of all those who donated to its creation. This is a gift to Delta City to commemorate the Centennial Celebration of the Millard School District 1907-2007, and was placed on April 12, 2007.
