The success of ReStore depends heavily on the donations of the community and surrounding business. Please keep in mind while making your donation that the ReStore is a fundraiser and therefor all donations must be SELL-ABLE, not simple usable. Hale Aloha O Hilo Habitat for Humanity is built on realizing a mission of decent, affordable living. This means they do not accept donations that are damaged, dirty, or otherwise degrading to our customers and community. Please be respectful of your neighbors.

and wanted: Appliances We will gladly accept any appliances in good working condition. High-end appliances needing minor repairs are also acceptable. Cabinets We will take cabinets in complete units. We will also accept cabinet doors, counter tops, and other mountable storage fixtures and work spaces. Doors We accept doors in good condition. We will turn away any donaiton that has rot, mold, termite damage, etc. Electrical We accept electrical parts, wire, plugs, plates and the hardware associated with electrical wiring. Fans We accept fans if they are complete, in working condition, and free of rust. Flooring material We accept carpet, vinyl flooring, laminate, or tile. Flooring is a very popular item. If used, carpet must still be in like-new condition with no stains, tears, odors, etc. Hardware We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, drawers, etc. Must be in good condition. Lighting We accept light fixtures in working condition. Please, no cracked or broken glass. Lumber • Plywood • Sheetrock • Trim We accept full and1/2 sheets of plywood, and lumber, as well as smaller pieces. Please, no rot or nails sticking out of lumber. At this time we are not accepting sheetrock, but do appreciate your donation of drywalling materials (such as tape, joint sealer, etc.) Mirror • Glass We will accept mirrors and glass only if they are free from cracks and chips. When delivering or preparing for a donation pick-up of a glass or mirror donation, please make sure that the surfaces of the glass and mirrors are taped and secured. Paint • Wall coverings We accept full, unopened cans of paint. Previously-used or unopened cans will accepted on a case-by-case basis. We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e. pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals). Wallpaper is taken in full, unopened rolls. Pipe • Pvc • Metal • Copper We accept 4' and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings. Plumbing • Tubs • Sinks • Showers • Toilets We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are in good condition and clean. We accept toilets only if they are in working condition. They must be free of cracks and permanent stains. Roofing Material • Gutters • Canales We accept all types of roofing material such as rolled roofing material, tar, metal roofing, bundles of new shingles. We also accept roofing gutter/canale materials that are in full pieces and are not rusty, bent up or damaged. Tools We accept all hand and power tools in working condition. Please be sure to include any batteries, cords, chargers and cases that are necessary in operation. Windows • Screens We accept windows of all types if the glass is intact. We also accept jalousie glass panes of all sizes. All items are sold at 50 - 90% off original retail prices. Craig's List
