Brewery Dilewyns started the production at May 2011 on this location. The brewery is runned by Vincent Dilewyns and his oldest daughter Anne-Cathérine.
Vincent Dilewyns started as home brewer in 1999 at Grembergen. For seven years he brewed there just for fun. In 2005 he commercialised his first own beer ‘Vicaris’, brewed at ‘De Proefbrouwerij’ in Lochristi. He won a lot of prices with his beer and in 2008 he decided to start as full-time professional brewer. In 2010 700 hectolitres of ‘Vicaris’ were brewed.
In 2010 a brew installation was bought in Italy with four fermentation and lager tanks (8,5 metres height) and a total capacity of 115 hectolitres.
