Route 66 Map Mural - Pontiac, IL - Route 66 - The Mother Road on Waymarking.com

Located on the 1898 Rathburn Building, this mural celebrates the route of the former Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, California.
The mural is 66 feet long...and has postcard like depictions for each State that Route 66 meandered through. Pontiac is of course one of the cities along the old route.
This mural is probably fairly new since it does not appear on the City's webpage dedicated to the 20 other murals in town. (visit link)

Unfortunately, the artist's last name is too blurry to read in the default photo...but his first name is Bob.
