This drinking fountain is a 3-way fountain The cup on the top right is for humans, the large basin in the middle is for horses and mules, and the bottom basin is for cats and dogs. It was produced by the Illinois Humane Society and erected in 1915. The lettering on the bottom reads Illinois Humane Society.
