Described by NCGS as being 1.5 miles NNE of Rougemont. Proceed along SR1471 (Red Mountain Rd) east from US-501 for 0.7 mile. Left on SR1795 (Quarter Horse Run) to station on right, at woods line, in front of house 13318. Mark is about 5 feet higher than road and is flush with the ground. It is 29.8 feet north of a power pole with ref tag.

This mark was pointed out to me in 2005 by property owner H.E. Moore while I was searching for nearby station "Red Mountain" (FY2961). At that time, "Quarter" was not in the NGS database. It since has been added as PID DH9087.
