The original location of this AA box would have been nearby further upstream at the start of the river Leven, on the bend in A590. Box 553 has been restored and repainted.
Inside the museum are two illuminated AA garage signs. One is at the entrance to replica car repair garage, the other in the garage. There was an AA village sign but not on show in 2011.
