The fog cave is a stalactite cave with impressive stalagmites, stalactites and stalagnates.
In the entrance hall of the second you walk through a forest of stalactites. Some go even to the cave ceiling.

The fog cave is a stalactite cave in the Swabian Alb, Baden-Wuerttemberg.
The fog cave is not only one of the longest and most beautiful but also one of the oldest show caves of the Swabian Alb.
Over 141 levels to rise into the mist cave. It is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or people who find climbing stairs difficult.
The currently known total length is 813 meters, 450 meters of which are accessible to visitors. The sole of the cave is about 780 m above sea level. NN.
The fog cave has impressive speed on large cross-sections. It is a very old cave, which is it evident that the dry valleys of the environment are lower than the cave.
In the mist cave can throw you a look inside a stalactite. On cross-section of the "sawed-off drip stone" can be seen a ring structure, reminiscent of the growth rings of trees.
