This small lighthouse was built in 1924 by a local developer to mark a small subdivision near Sturgeon Point on Lake Erie.

The lighthouse was subsequently moved inland, and marks the entrance to the Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant. It appears to be constructed of mortared limestone blocks, and in order to get to the top you have to be small in statue!
