This small cemetery has been taken over by trees and ivy. It's easy to drive right past it and never know it's there. Just outside the cemetery area is a marker that reads, "Site of the Pioneer Cemetery". It was placed in 1975.
Many of the gravestones are broken, hard to read, and covered by ivy.
Some of the surnames that are still readable are: Godfrey, Mitchell, Cooper, Bowen, Loveridge, and Laughlin.

I found the earliest and latest graves that could be read. I'm sure there are older ones here though.
Earliest Burial: 05/05/1818

Latest Burial: 04/05/1851
