This farmers' market in Etobicoke (Toronto) is a very busy and popular spot on Saturday mornings. I was told, by a woman who shops here regularly, that this market only allows farmers from the province to sell their produce here, unlike other farmers' markets where the vendors can buy produce at the Ontario Food Terminal and sell that.
This market operates on Saturdays from 8:00am until 2:00pm. I was here at 1:30 on Saturday and you will see from the pictures that the crowds are definitely thin at this point and the produce is not as abundant as it would be at 8:00am.

Desription of Market:
This market has been in operation from late spring to early fall for years. Farmers come each Saturday morning with their fruits and vegetables and offer them for sale from 8:00am until 2:00pm. There are usually several places to purchase drinks and snacks. An assortment of baked goods and honey is also available for sale.
