This large gateway arch was a gift to the Town of Monson from Mrs. Harlan Page.

This large gateway arch marks the entrance to Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson. It contains both a vehicle entrance way as well as a pedestrian entrance way and is built from gray granite from local quarries in Monson. The archway was built in 1897 and contains a plaque. The plaque is inscribed:
Presented to the Town of Monson
by Mrs. Harlan Page, of
Germantown, Penna., daughter of
Levi A. and Nancy M. Field, and
great-grandaughter of Cyrus W. Holmes,
in memory of the members of her
family who rest within this enclosure.
