The village of Štípa lies in the southwestern part of Hostýn Hill, 7 km northeast of the town of Zlín (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zl%C3%ADn).
The mill was built between 1858-1860 by local citizens. The mill worked for the citizens of surrounding villages until the Second World War. The mill has been preserved complete with technical equipment.
Diameter of the cylindrical building is 6 meters, height 8.1 meters. The wind wheel has a diameter of 10 meters.
