Normal access to the campground would be off Hwy 5 just south of the Assiniboine River near N 49 39.523, W 99 15.875 but severe flooding has decimated the park. Many roads were washed out and building were flooded. There is a temporary Campground office at the posted coordinates.
The turn off Hwy 5 is now 4.6 km south of the Assiniboine River at N49 37.265 W99 16.767. Just follow the detour signs.

Only part of the Kiche Manitou Campground open as well as some of the hiking trails.

2011 is the third year in a row that Park vehicle permits are not required in Manitoba's Provincial Parks.

If the campground office is closed, you can send a photo of yourself in front of a sign or distinctive landmark along with your passport to: Head of Interpretation, Parks and Natural Areas, 200 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg MB R3J 3W3. They will stamp your passport.
