Belgrade can roughly be divided in two parts, separated by the Danube river: the old Belgrade and the new Belgrade, which was built after the Second World War in the opposite bank of the river. In each of these parts there is a core farmers market. Kalenic Pijaka (

Desription of Market:
Even before entering the premises of the marke, one will start seeing trucks loaded with vegetables and its drivers selling the products directly to the people walking by. Inside, there is a perimeter with assorted, more traditional, shops and then more than a hundred of stands assigned to individual farmers who sell their production there. Basically everything coming from agriculture activity can be found there.
