Wolverton Farmers Market is held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month in 2012. 9am-1pm on the corner of Creed Street and Stratford Road in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Wolverton Farmers Market
Held on the first and third Saturday every month outside the Town Hall on the corner of Creed Street and Stratford Road from 9am-1pm.

Alongside the fabulous Teapot Community Cafe and eye2eye Fairtrade, the market hosts the following stalls on the first Saturday of the month:

Broody Hen
Organically grown fruit and vegetables from Chris Holt's smallholding near Huntingdon. Affiliated to the Wholesome Food Association. Also sells hen, duck and goose eggs (in season).

Franklin's Farm
Based in Sandy, John Franklin keeps free range poultry and is licensed to deal in game. Their chickens and ducks range freely on grass and the preparation is all done on farm. They have an excellent website at www.franklinsfarm.co.uk

Country Markets -
A local group of prolific cake and preserve makers. Jam and Jerusalem this isn't. They take chances with the local and the unusual alongside the Eccles cakes. They're at the Bath House Community Centre every Friday morning too.

My Garden Friends -
Mark and Val sell locally grown vegetables, cheese from Wobbly Bottom Farm, native perennials, herbs and bedding plants. They also craft wooden items, bird and insect boxes for the garden.

Alongside the fabulous Teapot Community Cafe, the market hosts the following stalls on the third Saturday of the month:

Alongside Broody Hen and My Garden Friends we have -
New Lodge Farm
Simon and Sarah Singlehurst's family have been farming in Bulwick, Northants since the 1870's. Their farm assured lamb and beef is incredibly tasty and Simon is always happy to recommend the right kind of cut for your needs.

Wolverton Community Orchard
Wolverton's orchard group take a stall at the market to let people know what's happening on site, sell seasonal crafts, provide craft activities for kids and raise awareness of the plight of the UK's fruit orchards. With them we run the Apple Day celebrations in October each year.

James Monk Honey
- James has a small number of hives very local to the market and produces some wonderful honey - you must try his vanilla and ginger honey - great in coffee.

eye2eye Faritrade

eye2eye Fairtrade is a new independent fairtrade venture in Milton Keynes which started it at the launch of Fairtrade fortnight 2010 to support the campaign and to help Milton Keynes keep its Fairtrade Borough Status. They are on a mission to offer as wide a range of good quality, Fairtrade products as they can source, from Accessories and homewares to Wholefoods, and Zaytoun Fairtrade olive oil, plus a range of hard to find, low-impact cleaning products that are kind to you and kind to the environment.

They have some great good value products on offer for example the award winning FT organic Qi (Chee) tea. Why not make the change to a Fairtrade cuppa today and bag a bargain in the process!
