Dedicated July 3, 1966, this memorial is located in a small park-like area on the grounds of the Neville Public Museum, and over looks the Fox River. Monuments toother wars, as well as a new monument to 911 are also here.
Across the river is an area of very active growth, with two new buildings, two more within a few years, a skating rink and the Fox River Trail. Green Bay's Festival Park and two brewpubs are within one block.
