Une
magnifique plage publique avec du sable fin et frais, même au
gros soleil. L'eau est pure et cristalline, on peut y voir quelques
espèces de poissons en plongée
en apnée.
La plage est sur
la petite île Cayo Santa Maria d'environ 16 km de long par 2 km de
large dans la baie de Buena Vista, au nord de la grande île de Cuba
dans l'archipel "Jardines del Rey" (les jardins du Roi). La plage
mesure 13,5 km de long découpée en 5 sections, les hôtels occupant la
plus longue section de plage soit 6 km.
Le waypoint
indiqué (approximatif puisqu'il est interdit d'avoir un GPS à Cuba) est
sur la partie de plage du complexe "Memories azul".
Vous pouvez profiter du soleil sur
la plage, marcher
sur plusieurs kilomètres, admirer la faune aquatique en apnée,
faire du catamaran ou de la voile, nager ou lire. Le
naturisme est permis à la plage du complexe "Sol Cayo
Santa Maria" à l'ouest, et seulement à la plage, NON au site de l'hôtel.
Pas de chien ni
de véhicule à moteur sur la plage.
C'est un hôtel "Tout inclus", donc
plusieurs services sont disponibles dont un bar à boisson, des
toilettes, un snack bar. Plusieurs chaises de plage sont à la
disposition des vacanciers de
l'hôtel.

A beautiful public beach with fine and cool
sand, even in hot sun. The water is crystal clear,
we can see some species of
fish snorkeling.
The
beach is on the small island of Cayo Santa
Maria about 16 km
long by 2 km wide
in the Bay of Buena Vista, north of the
main island of Cuba in
the archipelago "Jardines del
Rey" (The Gardens of the king). The beach measures 13.5 km long divided into five sections, hotels occupying the longest section of the beach
that is 6 km long.
The waypoint indicated
(approximate since it is forbidden to have
a GPS in Cuba) is part of the beach complex "Memories azul".
You can sunbathe on the beach, walk
for miles, enjoy
the aquatic life snorkeling,
catamaran sailing, sail,
swim or play.
Nudism is allowed on the beach complex "Sol Cayo
Santa Maria" to the west, and only at the beach,
NOT at the hotel.
There are no dogs or motor vehicles on the beach.
This hotel is "All Inclusive", so many
services are available including a bar to drink, restrooms,
a snack bar. Several
beach chairs are available to vacationers from the hotel.
