F-104G Starfighter D-8282, constructionnumber 8282 preserved at the Nassau Dietz barracks in Budel. This F-104G replaced the former German Air Force CL 13 Sabre which was on a pole at this location.
The F-104G has the badge of 311 Squadron on the tail. This unit was based at Volkel Air Base in a ground attack/strike role.
