This confluence point is at a very easily accessible golf course in Riverton, NJ along the fourth fairway. It is a cinch to walk to and there is nothing to get in the way. Parking is a breeze and the walk is very short and quite pleasant.

Only a waymarker or a geography enthusiast would give a hoot about confluence points but I was pretty excited. I never bothered to investigate the possibility of living near one of these but as it turns out this confluence point is less than 3 miles from my home. As I was moving slightly to the left and then to the right, attempting to get all zeroes, trying to find the just the right spot, I failed to notice the rectangular, granite marker embedded in the fairway with the permanent incised coordinates. Wow! There it is I thought. Who else but a waymarker would get this excited! I didn't even think to look for a marker for this confluence.
The confluence lies on the left side of the fourth fairway of the golf course, less than two meters from the rough, and approximately 35 meters southeast of the fourth hole and pin. A deciduous tree is approximately 7 meters to the west of the spot. This is even more of a special location than other confluences, in that it is a 5-degree longitude and a 10-degree latitude confluence. The parking areas is approximately 450 yards southwest of the confluence site.
I was not able to get all zeroes at the permanent granite marker. I had to move a few feet away. I was curious to find out why do I went to GoogleEarth and discovered the marker is 6 feet away from the actual confluence, according to GoogleEarth.
