This is a small sluice gate at the Griesstraße in Pfullingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg. It's used to regulate the water for the nearby historical water mill.

The sluice gate and the water wheel of the nearby mill are still working. The waterway is named '5/8 Kanal' (5/8 Channel). It's one of originally 8 channels to regulate the water for several mills. Only two of this channels are still in use: 3/8 Kanal and 5/8 Kanal.
