The Lac de Melo is located in the upper part of Restonica valley (altitude 1710 m), about 10 km from the town Corte. Lake is located circa 2 hrs of walk from parkings in lower part of Restonica valley. Lac de Melo is a glacial lake, frozen 6 months of year, which gives birth to the river Restonica, a tributary of Tavignano.
