At the corner of Park and Naglee is a 3/4 scale replica of the obelisk that stood before the House of the Sun in Heliopolis. Guarding it are two magestic sphinxes in excelent condition.
They are on the grounds of the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, where another pair of sphinxes can be found. The park around the buildings is open to the public without fee. The museum houses many more fascinating items for a $9.00 admission fee.
