This marker is located at 421 Main Street in Poplar Bluff, Mo in front of the Margaret Harwell Art Museum. The Museum is located in the Moore-Dalton House which is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. The text of the marker reads:
Moore - Dalton House
Original four-room, one-story house built in 1883 by Thomas H. and Jennie Moore. Second story added 1890. Purchased by James L. and Clara Wright Dalton 1896. Additions made 1896 and c. 1927. Purchased 1980 by City of Poplar Bluff from Dalton heirs with funds bequeathed by Margaret Harwell for an art museum.
