Bedwell Bayfront Park is located on the San Francisco Bay. This hilltop tower in the park has anemometers to measure the winds coming off the bay.

Bedwell Bayfront Park is located between some old salt ponds on the San Francisco Bay. This park is a former landfill that has been reclaimed as parkland. There are many hills and trails through the park.

One can take a walking trail up this hilltop and find a very tall tower of weather instruments. The tower has four guy-wires for support. From the ground, one can see three-cupped anemometers to measure the wind strength blowing from the bay.
