Mansion House tube station is on the Circle and District lines and is located between Blackfriars and Cannon Street stations. The station entrance in the photos is at the northern end of Garlick Hill at its junction with Victoria Street.

The station was opened in July 1871 by the Metropolitan District Railway. The station takes its name from the Mansion House that is located close-by. The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London.
