A wonderful little stand in the heart of the Poconos; my wife and I have been coming here for years.
This is a full complement stand with Burgers, Hotdog Fries, Perogies, Chicken Finger, Fish and Chips, and all the typical stuff you'd find at most roadside stands.
If there is a specilty it's got to be their hotdogs, they are roller cooked first then split and grill seared; with onion and mustard they are some of the best doggies around.
4:00am is not a misprint, she's open for very early breakfast sandwiches for the people coming down from their homes in the outlying hills heading for Rt 80 and jobs in NJ and NY.
The staff is very friendly accommodating and they will bring the order out to you. They have a few picinic tables and park benches for your utlization and enjoyment.
It's nestled along route 477 just before the 191 juntion in a clump of hemlock trees and even on the hottest July weekends the area is cool and quaint. And it's fun to watch the chipmunks scamper around and will quickly snatch a french fry or two.
