"Die spätgotische Kirche zum Heiligen Kreuz, seit 1690 Benefizialkirche, wird 1420 urkundlich erwähnt.
Sie wurde wahrscheinlich von Hans von Thaur, einem Schüler des Meisters Hans Sewer von Hall, erbaut.
Bei der Restaurierung im Jahre 1966 entdecke man wertvolle Fresken aus der Gotik und Renaissance.
Das Wandgemälde über dem linken Seitenaltar mit der Anbetung der Könige in der Art der Brixner Schule (1443) hat man schon früher aufgedeckt. An der Nordwand fand man nun Heiligenfiguren aus der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts, an der Südwand St. Helena und St. Erasmus sowie die Ansicht einer Stadt (Hall?) aus dem 16. Jahrhundert.
Die Altäre sind neugotisch, das Kruzifix am Hochaltar ist aber spätgotisch.
Die neuen Glasfenster sind von Wilfried Kirschl und Peter Prandstetter.
Im Friedhof ist das Grab des Pfarrers - Sebastian Rieger, als "Reimmichl" bekannt (1867 - 1953); er war seit 1914 hier als Priester tätig. An seinem Wohnhaus wure 1963 ein Denkmal angebracht.
Das Bad Heiligkreuz, das bis ins 20. Jahrhundert viel besucht wurde, wird bereits im 14. Jahrhundert als Heilquelle (fons in Gamps) erwähnt.

"The late-Gothic church of the Holy Cross, since 1690 Benefizialkirche is mentioned in documents in 1420.

The mural on the left side altar of the Adoration of the Kings in the kind of Brixen School (1443) have been discovered earlier.
