At the end of Greenbrier Dr. in Fredericksburg, Virginia there is a 34-acre wooded park which sits along Hazel Run, a stream that runs from Fredericksburg to Spotsylvania County. Alum Spring Park offers hiking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and historic sites. There is parking available after crossing Hazel Run, but it is necessary to drive through it. There is a concrete ford wide enough for one vehicle. For the less adventurous, there is a small parking area available before the ford and a footbridge for access.

The road is closed during high water or flood conditions.
