Whether you’re looking for a romantic vacation getaway in our luxurious lodgepole pine cabins or a memorable family reunion in cabins that sleep up to twenty-two, you’ll find it at Bear River Lodge. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Uinta Mountains in Utah, with easy access from Salt Lake City, Park City and Ogden, you’ll find over 400 miles of ATV trails with access for your ATV rentals directly from the cabins, and you’ll experience world-class snowmobiling with tens of thousands of acres of National Forest with our snowmobile rentals.

The Cabins at Bear River Lodge can be your home away from home. From the serenity of the decks and patios overlooking the Bear River and private fishing ponds to the relaxation of the oversized tubs in each Master Bedroom, you will quickly discover why so many are anxious to arrive and hesitant to leave The Cabins.

There are 4 one bedroom cabins, 2 two bedroom cabins, and 3 five bedroom cabins on site. Each cabin is fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy and simplify your stay. All cabins include:

Cross Country Ski Trail – Lily Lake Cross Country Ski Trail starts at The Cabins at Bear River Lodge, Groomed weekly with track setters, 30 total miles. Ski Rentals available on-site.

Snow Shoe Rentals – Experience the quiet and serenity of the National Forest by experiencing the back country on snow shoes

Outdoor Amphitheater – 100 Seat Amphitheater with stage and firepit bordering the Bear River. Excellent for family and corporate gatherings or just getting together to roasting hot dogs and making smores.

ATV Rentals - Single or Two-Person Can-Am Outlander 500, Four-Person Polaris Ranger Crew 500, Six-Person Polaris Ranger Crew 800 - can be rented for half day, full day, or overnight.

Snowmobile Rentals - Single Seat 550cc Powder Machine, Single Seat 600cc Powder Machine, Two Seater Trail Touring Machine, or Three Seater Trail Touring Machine - full day rentals.


Our general store has everything from snacks and beverages to groceries and fishing supplies. If you need camping, auto or RV supplies we’ve got them too. Want to take home a memory? Choose from a BRL t-shirt, hat, or gift, or take home a truly unique treasure from some of our local artists with their items on display.

Other conveniences include the Bear River Grill and gasoline for your vehicle, ATV or snowmobile.

One Bedroom Cabins - Maximum of 4 Guests. Sun – Thurs $229 per night Fri, Sat, Holidays $289 per night. Full-Week Rental $1,000 (7 Nights, Not Valid December 20-January 5). Two Bedroom Cabins - Maximum of 8 Guests. Sun – Thurs $369 per night Fri, Sat, Holidays $429 per night Full-Week Rental $1,650 (7 Nights, Not Valid December 20-January 5). 5 Bedroom Cabins - Maximum of 22 Guests. Sun – Thurs $799 per night Fri, Sat, Holidays $899 per night Full-Week Rental $3,500 (7 Nights, Not Valid December 20-January 5).

From Evanston, WY Approximate Drive Times From 1-80 East, take Exit #5, Front Street, and turn Right, which will put you on the Mirror Lake Hwy 150. Travel South for 30 miles. The Cabins at Bear River Lodge will be on your right side, at about mile marker 49. Summer: 30 min. Winter: 30 min. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Park City, UT Approximate Drive Times **From Park City, take UT-248 E/Kearns Blvd to Kamas, UT (about 14 miles), turn Right on Main Street in Kamas, go about two blocks and turn Right by Chevron, onto the Mirror Lake Highway 150. Travel North for 49 miles. The Cabins at Bear River Lodge will be on your left at mile marker 49. If Highway 150 is closed for the winter, take I-80 East to Evanston, WY and see the above directions from Evanston. Summer: 85 min. Winter: 90 min. (Through Evanston) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Heber City, UT Approximate Drive Times **From Heber, take US-189 N/US-40 W toward Park City for about 4 miles. Turn Right onto UT-32 N/River Road (signs for Camping/Jordanelle Dam View Area/Rock Cliff) follow for 10.5 miles. Turn Left in Francis to stay on UT-32 N for 2.5 miles. In Kamas, turn Right by the Chevron onto Mirror Lake Highway 150. Travel North for 49 miles. The Cabins at Bear River Lodge will be on your left at mile marker 49. If Highway 150 is closed for winter, take US-189 N/US-40 W to I-80 East, get off at Exit #5, Front Street, turn right when you get off the exit to access Mirror Lake Highway 150, and travel South for 30 miles. Summer: 90 min. Winter: 1 hr., 40 min. (Through Evanston) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Salt Lake City, UT Approximate Drive Times From Salt Lake City, you can go through Kamas, UT or Evanston, WY. Both ways will take you about 2 hours. In the Winter, you must come through Evanston, WY. Summer: 2 hrs. Winter: 2 hrs. (Through Evanston) **Please note: Highway 150 is open for road traffic only during the summer and fall each year. If you are driving to the Lodge between Thanksgiving and Memorial Day (late November through late May), please route your trip through Evanston, WY.
