German settlers built the Calvary. The eight stations were completed in 1798. The Calvary barnagi specialty lies in the fact that it consist only 7 stations instead of e Church's canonized 14, which depict the seven pains of the Sorrowful Mother, so the story until the cross-road is presented by Mary's point of view.
German minority government completely renovated the calvary between 2003 and 2009.
