At the rear of the City of Royal Oak building an addition includes the Police department. To the west of the police entrance is a door marked Employee Entrance Only, this is where the shelter is found. The shelter sign is just south or left of the door and looking into the door and to the right you will see another shelter sign inside the building. This sign directs you down the stairs to the shelter. It looks as though the inside sign had the capacity on it but is now smeared off. The outside does not have the capacity listed.
