The Great Reno Balloon Race has been operating since 1984. It occurs on the weekend after Labor Day at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in northwest Reno, Nevada.

The Great Reno Balloon Race has been operating since 1984. It always occurs on the first weekend after the Labor Day Holiday.
The location is at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in northwest Reno, Nevada. Typical Events include a Glow Show at 5AM followed by a (pre) Dawn Patrol Launch with more glow, followed by a mass ascension of more than 70 balloons at 7AM.
The mass ascension during daylight is amazing. So many balloons in so many shapes and colors.
