In Kennebunkport, along Log Cabin Road, is the Seashore Trolley Museum, which, in addition to over 250 trolleys and heavy rail trains, has over thirty motorized transit buses from all over the U.S.

The Seashore Trolley Museum is located off US Route 1, and is about a mile north of the center of Kennebunkport. See the web site for hte museum for specific directions as they probably can put it better than I could.

Yes, the Seashore Trolley Museum focuses on trolleys, and heavy rail vehicles that are on rail, with over 250 items in the collection, and a long line of track to run them. However, though small in comparison to them, the museum has over 30 motorized buses from transit companies and authorities all over the U.S.

The web site has a section where you can view images of the collection, with a category for motorized busses. Also in the collection are a hybrid of sorts - 'trackless trolleys' which are buses that take their power from overhead lines using trolley poles. Also in the collection are a couple horse-drawn 'omnibuses' which are ancestors of today's motorized buses.

Samples from the collection include:

- 1974 General Motors Bus from the Manchester (NH) Transit Authority
- 1967 Flexible from New Orleans Public Service
- 1967 General Motors Corp from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority
- 1982 Flyer Industries from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

There are many more to see. Most of them are located outside, by one of the exhibit barns for trolleys. Others are outside here and there along the access roads.
