This bridgeless crossing occurs where the gravel road off of Echo Bay Road leading to the Echo Bay Airstrip crosses a normally dry streambed that floods during rainstorms.

The unnamed stream crossed by the Echo Bay Airstrip Road can be very dangerous if there is a rainstorm anywhere upstream from this crossing. It can turn from a completely dry channel devoid of any moisture into a raging wall of water several feet high in just seconds. Any attempt to cross if there is water flowing in the channel could be potentially fatal!! Cross with caution!!
