The views are stupendous. High above the valley floor you can see for great distances. In the distance are the Vermillion Cliffs and there is no doubt as to how they got their name. And through the broad flats below you can be seen the snake-like twists and turns of the Colorado River Gorge on its way to the Grand Canyon downstream from Glen Canyon Dam.
