This bridgless water crossing will have to be negotiated by anyone driving from the National Road 2 towards the village of Corte de Ouro, using the shortcut which makes the connection before getting to Ameixial.
I crossed it after 3 or 4 days without rain and still there was some water there. Probably it will be quite hard in rainy days. I am afraid there is no official designation to the road (dirt road in excellent condition) and I don't know the name of the body of water... it's a local thing, doesn't come with a name in the maps.
