Oakland Park is located just north of Ft. Lauderdale and this old style diner is no doubt typical of many other eating establishments along the Dixie Highway. This place opened in 1979...and prices haven't changed much.....
The poster of this waymark had a breakfast combo consisting of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 healthy sausage links, an order of wheat toast and limitless coffee for $6.95! The servers come about every 2 minutes to refresh your coffee. The address for this very popular diner is actually 1216 E Oakland Park Blvd...but it's right at the intersection of the Dixie Highway.
It is open 24 hours every day.
And the place has a full bar too!
