Informationen zum Künstler:
"1963 in Prien am Chiemsee geboren, verbrachte ich meine Kindheit und Jugend im Chiemgau. Während meiner Ausbildung als Elektroniker begann ich mich mehr und mehr aktiv mit der Bildenden Kunst zu beschäftigen, besuchte Seminare und Kurse für Portrait- und Aktmalerei, probierte verschiedene Techniken aus und wagte mich schließlich in die freie Natur, um Landschaftsmotive anzufertigen. 1993 nahm ich an der „Internationalen Sommerakademie” in Salzburg teil und belegte dort unter Prof. Jiri Salamoun die Klasse für „Zeichnen und Illustration”, in den Jahren 1997 und 1998 besuchte ich im Rahmen der „Sommerakademie Hohenaschau” einen Kurs für Radierung unter der Leitung von Rudolf Distler. 1993 konnte ich meine Leidenschaft fürs Zeichnen zu meinem Beruf machen und lebe vorwiegend als freischaffender Künstler in Bad Endorf." Information about the artist:
"Born in 1963 in Prien am Chiemsee, he spent his childhood and youth in Chiemgau. During his training as an electronics technician he started more and more working with the visual arts, attended seminars and courses for portraits and nudes, tried different techniques and ventured finally into the great nature to draw landscape motifs. 1993 Josef Hölzl attended the "International Summer Academy" in Salzburg by Prof. Jiri Salamoun in the class for "Drawing and Illustration". In 1997 and 1998 he visited as part of the "Summer Academy Hohenaschau" a course for etching under the direction of Rudolf Distler. 1993 he made his passion for drawing to his profession and lives predominantly as a freelance artist in Bad Endorf."
