From the Smithsonian listing: "Orange-painted steel sculpture that is an abstraction of a roll of paper. The abstract shapes form various arcs and semi-circles."
It looks to me that it is more red than orange and that it needs a new paint job. The edges of the metal are showing signs of chipping paint and rust.

DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH: It is beginning to rust on the edges and it needs a new paint job. Beyond the need for a little maintenance, it still looks good.
